If you want to see Andong K-drama filming locations, the first thing to know is that they are scattered. The pavilion tied to Mr. Sunshine, the school from All of Us Are Dead and the UNESCO village where historical dramas keep returning sit in different corners of the city. A single well-timed day from Seoul can cover the best of them, but winter opening hours make the order matter.
Where each drama connects to Andong
| Place | Drama link | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Manhyujeong Pavilion | Mr. Sunshine (2018), via the narrow wooden bridge at the site | Korea Tourism Organization |
| Woryeonggyo Bridge | Listed by KTO as a popular filming location (no single drama named) | Korea Tourism Organization |
| Seonghui Girls’ High School | All of Us Are Dead (Netflix) | Korea Tourism Organization |
| Hahoe Village | Private tour listings cite Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Live Up to Your Name | KKday tour listing |
The KTO wording matters here. Its Andong guide ties Mr. Sunshine to the wooden bridge at Manhyujeong and only calls Woryeonggyo a “popular filming location”, so treat Woryeonggyo as a scenic stop rather than a confirmed scene site. The Hahoe credits come from a tour operator, not an official list.
Manhyujeong: the Mr. Sunshine stop
Manhyujeong Pavilion is the one KTO singles out as especially well known for the narrow wooden bridge in Mr. Sunshine. KTO suggests visiting by day for photos framed by forest, rock formations and a clear stream. It is outside the city centre, so plan the transfer: KTO lists city bus 610 for Manhyujeong, and a taxi is the easier option if you are short on time.

Woryeonggyo Bridge at dusk
Woryeonggyo is described by KTO as Korea’s longest wooden pedestrian bridge, lit up at night. KTO lists bus 112 for it. It is the easiest place on this list to add at the end of the day, because you do not need daylight for it.

Hahoe Village, the main event
Hahoe is a clan village where the Pungsan Ryu family has lived for more than 600 years, and it was listed by UNESCO in 2010. KTO says free guided tours run hourly from 10 am to 4 pm, except noon. Adult entry is 5,000 won according to the Hahoe preservation society, and the shuttle from the ticket area to the village is free.
Check the hours before you plan the day. KTO gives 9:00 to 17:30 from April to September and 9:00 to 16:30 from October to March. The October-to-March figure is the last entry time on the preservation society’s page, so after 4:30 pm in winter you cannot start a visit.

The village’s mask dance, Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori, is a satire of nobles and scholars performed by village residents. The resident show is free and runs at 2 pm, Tuesday to Sunday from March to December, per the Hahoe mask dance preservation society. One tour listing shows slightly different days, so confirm on the day. Do not pick Monday.

The All of Us Are Dead school
KTO says the Netflix zombie series was filmed largely at Seonghui Girls’ High School at 246 Gangnam-ro, with a banner at the main gate and a photo zone inside. It is a working school, and KTO does not publish visiting hours, so call the school (+82-54-858-7766) before making a special trip. KTO says the road in front of the school, the gate and the bridge between the buildings are recognisable from the series.
The day-trip timing

| Step | What to know (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Seoul to Andong | KTX-Eum from Cheongnyangni, about 1 hr 50 min per KTO. Adult fare 27,700 won on the Oct 11-17 timetable |
| Andong to Hahoe | City bus 210, 1,500 won, about 50 minutes |
| Hahoe entry | Adult 5,000 won, last entry 4:30 pm in winter |
| Mask dance | 2 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, free |
| Last train home | 6:14 pm KTX-Eum on weekdays; an extra 7:18 pm on Saturday and Sunday |
Train times and fares come from Korail data for the week of October 11 to 17, 2026, as republished by a third party, because Korail’s own site blocks automated checks. Confirm in the KORAIL+ app before you book. If you want Hahoe plus a drama stop, do Hahoe first, since its gate closes earliest, and leave Woryeonggyo for the evening.
Which stop is for you
- You loved Mr. Sunshine: go to Manhyujeong, then add Woryeonggyo.
- You watched All of Us Are Dead: call ahead about the school, then spend the rest of the day at Hahoe.
- You like quiet hanok villages more than filming spots: skip the city stops, see Hahoe with the 2 pm dance, and consider staying the night so you can walk it after the gate closes.
Four Korean phrases for the trip

For dinner, Andong’s jjimdak (soy-braised chicken with glass noodles) has a dedicated alley at the old market, per KTO. The restaurant KTO lists in its drama-tour page, Joogang Braised Chicken, is closed on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
